Gift Voucher Prices
Belvedere House gift vouchers are season tickets — not single-visit passes. The recipient gets unlimited access to the estate throughout the year, which is the key thing to understand when evaluating the price against a one-time admission fee (which is approximately €12–14 per adult visit).
| Voucher Type | Price | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | €85 | A regular visitor or someone local to Westmeath who'll visit multiple times in the year |
| Couple | €125 | Best value option for two regular visitors — effectively €62.50 per person for unlimited year access |
| Child (over 3) | €15 | Add-on to an adult voucher gift; covers the child's estate access for the full year |
| Senior Citizen / Student | €47 | Concession rate for OAPs and students |
| Custom amount | On request | Contact the estate to arrange a voucher for a specified alternative amount |
How to Buy
Belvedere House gift vouchers are purchased directly from the estate — they're not available through an online checkout. Contact the estate by phone or via their website form:
Payment methods: bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal.
What's Included in a Belvedere House Season Ticket Voucher?
A Belvedere House season ticket gives unlimited access to the estate grounds for one year from the date of purchase. This includes:
- Gardens and parkland (160 acres)
- The Jealous Wall, Gothic Arch and Octagonal Gazebo (the three follies)
- Victorian Walled Garden and Fairy Garden
- All four children's play areas including the 30-metre zip line
- Woodland trails and Lough Ennell lakeshore walk
- Audio guides (free, 4 languages, 20 stops)
The Lakeside Café is separate — café purchases are not included in the season ticket. Guided tours (available Wed & Sat at 12pm in summer) are a separate booking. Special events such as the Garden Festival (19 July) and Santa at Belvedere (November–December) are also separately ticketed.
Is a Belvedere House Gift Voucher Worth It?
The value calculation is straightforward: an adult day visit costs approximately €12–14. An adult season ticket at €85 pays for itself after six visits. If the recipient lives within easy reach of Mullingar and would realistically visit multiple times in a year — across different seasons, for different features — the season ticket is excellent value.
For a one-off visitor or someone travelling from Dublin specifically to see the estate once, a season ticket is overkill — a single-visit gift card isn't offered by the estate, so the season ticket is the only gift voucher format available.
The couple voucher at €125 is the best-value option in the range. Two adults visiting six times in the year would pay ~€144 on single tickets; the couple season ticket cuts that to €125 from the first day.
Who Is a Belvedere House Voucher Best For?
- People based in Westmeath or Mullingar — the estate is a genuinely enjoyable regular walk. Local residents who aren't already members are the natural audience.
- Regular visitors from the Midlands — if the recipient already visits Belvedere occasionally and would visit more with an annual pass, it makes sense.
- Grandparents of young children — the couple voucher plus a child voucher covers grandparent-and-grandchild visits all year, which is a significant practical gift.
- Nature and garden enthusiasts — the Walled Garden across four seasons is genuinely worth multiple visits. Spring bulbs, summer borders, autumn colour.
